i think to build is really in our dna. i think if you put a man on a deserted island to figure out pretty quickly, he needs to build a link to or something to get himself out of the element. i think it's just instinctive. you don't think we're here if we don't learn that pretty quickly. i grew up in a family where our hard work was just sort of part of the course. it's what we did. you might not be the smartest. you might not be the fastest, but if you can not work, you know, your competition, it certainly give you a leg up to think the construction would take me this far. pretty, pretty mine bogland, when i was in college, i was really hopeful that one day i'd be a proper baseball player. i wanted to be the best baseball player i could be. so this new path opened up, and i really applied that same drive and determination, really, the discipline that i'd learned from baseball really focused on that attention on clip and houses. my work is become really my passion. the more you work, and the more you win, and the more you get excellent at your crab into the more confidence you attain that process. we've always stayed late, we've always done things on budget, we've always done things on schedule, and that's always been really important. reputation is everything. and when people say the name chip gains, they referred of that as somebody who did an excellent job, but somebody they were proud of somebody they could trust. if you can get the right tools on the right project, things become a whole ladies here for everybody and life and in construction. i mean, if we can get the foundation set, if we can get it perfect, literally, even if that takes you a little bit extra time, the rest of the project really set up right. give me another minute, give me another day, give me another week, because i want this to be done when you think about the gravity of somebody and trusting you with their dreams when you think about that in a house and specifically in a house that we've been interested in pretty powerful, this where clients are going to live out their lives. this is where their kids are going to grow up. you know, if we do our job, right, they'll pass this household of those kids and the cycle of keep. go 你嗯。
i've always been a uh glass half of type thinker, the type of person that really didn't look at the world exactly the way that it is. but more in the context, maybe our good. i really believe in my heart hearts that there is a blue print for all this. we're here for a reason. when i looked my babies and eyes, we're here to make a difference. you know, we're here to do something uh that, in my opinion, would be done if they worked for. i think things are gonna get better. i've always thought, even when we were broke, the next chapter in our life is going to be the best chapter.
