we are all doing more and more shopping online. but what if your ability to see or navigate a page is effective visual hearing or mobile disability, the accessibility project, making e commerce content accessible to all the projects goals to create a free, open source design template that make e commerce content on product pages accessible to everyone. the challenge was to change traditional thinking about u x and design for e commerce. we wanted to show that changes that make an interface and navigation accessible, virtually invisible, and not to compromise on design. the apartment with procter and gamble and started on the product pages of one of their leading brands, ambitious over many months of designers and developers explored, apply and challenge the rules and guides for accessibility. they created n b p s content. product comes from their real world, learns the process was a method of trial. and ever we worked in partnership with people with a range of disabilities to create a template, but not only look good, it was accessible. the final template was created as a broken source file, whether user, guide, designers and developers could download it for free to create private pages for england. the project is ongoing. its goal is to continue to add more e commerce template created with accessibility principles and to make shopping online easier for everyone.
